Our Story

Welcome to Danco Modern Furniture - where Scandinavian heritage meets modern, high-end living in the Lowcountry.

Founded in the 1960's by Dan Haugaard, a native of Denmark, Danco began with a simple vision: bringing the clean lines, functional elegance, and timeless craftsmanship of modern design to customer's homes. Today, that vision lives on as a proud three-generation family story. Led by Dan's son, Paul Haugaard, alongside his daughter and office manager, Brenna Haugaard, they continue to curate premium, forward-thinking furniture collections for any space.
